Ivy Barley is a Ghanaian digital nomad, steminist and an entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and CEO of Developers in Vogue - an organization that is paving the way for more African women to take up opportunities in the tech industry. She was listed as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Young Ghanaians in 2017. She self-learned her way through coding and is believed to be breaking barriers in Tech.
Ivy Barley discovered, first hand, that gender equality challenges are barriers to opportunities for African women in the tech industry.
She co-founded Developers in Vogue (DIV) with the aim of narrowing the gender inequality gap in the study of STEM.
Developers In Vogue is a social enterprise that teaches young girls how to code, connect and collaborate using technology.
She is working to create a world where more African women will be daring enough to lead in STEM fields. Her work is creating a community of highly skilled female developers who are passionate about using technology to revolutionize Africa and the world.
